FABRI Group strengthens its network in the south: Geuppert Elektrotechnik joins the group in Lower Franconia

With Geupert Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG, the FABRI Group gains a strong member in Lower Franconia. The traditional Hofheim-based company with over 100 years of history stands for quality, innovation and regional responsibility while remaining firmly in family hands. ‍ Around 43 employees, including 12 trainees, get energy moving every day — from classic electrical installations to photovoltaic and storage technology to modern smart home and security systems. In doing so, Geupert Elektrotechnik supports its customers from planning to commissioning and places great value on quality, efficiency and individual solutions. ‍ managing director Thomas Borst has been running the company in the fourth generation since 2006. Together with his wife Tatjana Borst, he will remain on board in the future. “Independence, stability and local responsibility — these are values that unite us,” says Thomas Borst about joining the FABRI Group. “I want our company to retain its structure and culture — and at the same time have the security of being transferred to good hands in the long term.” Geupert Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. First regional meeting of FABRI companies in the Frankfurt area

The FABRI Group's strength is networking: bringing people together, sharing experiences openly and quickly understanding who is doing what, in which regions the companies are active and which clients are working for. Managing directors, authorized signatories and project managers came together at the first regional meeting of five FABRI companies in the Frankfurt am Main area. After short rounds of introductions, the dialogue followed immediately — with noticeable results: more transparency about services and capacities, more direct communication channels and a common understanding of where cooperation makes sense and is effective. ‍ FABRI Group principle: Decisions remain decentralized. Each company acts independently — collaboration is created where it creates real added value for clients and teams. The direct connection within the group makes coordination faster, more precise and more reliable in everyday life, without curtailing the independence of individual companies. ‍ The exchange on best practices was particularly valuable — particularly in the areas of employee recruitment, leadership and retention. Specific impulses include a realistic approach and streamlined recruitment processes, leadership with clear expectations, feedback and responsibility, as well as commitment through development prospects and tangible recognition in daily interaction. This is how networking becomes an effect — for the FABRI Group teams and for their clients.

Shaping the future, taking responsibility: YOUNG FABRI meeting 2025 in Würzburg

From Thursday, September 18 to Saturday, September 20, 2025, the YOUNG FABRIs met again in Würzburg. Three days full of inspiration, exchange and personal encounters made the meeting a special event. ‍ The kick-off on Thursday was Oliver Oettgen with his contribution “Success without compromise — thinking and leading in an entrepreneurial way.” He asked the participants whether their inner image and actions were really on track and made it clear that thinking entrepreneurially means making decisions and getting into action. Taking responsibility also means allowing wrong decisions — because they are part of it and can be corrected. It is crucial to have the courage to do things instead of persisting in theory. In the evening, a joint barbecue followed in the steel room. It was clear how great the need for exchange and networking was — discussions developed quickly, new contacts were established and personal connections were deepened. ‍ On Friday, Susanne Lührmann set a special tone with her presentation “Achieving goals in style — confidently, competently and safely.” It showed that respect and appreciation are not just buzzwords, but core values that we at FABRI live by every day — and that are essential for good leadership. ‍ Tobias Händler from Benetics AG then spoke about artificial intelligence in crafts. His message: In the Group, YOUNG FABRIs have the privilege of introducing new AI applications at an early stage — an advantage that individual companies would not have in this way. Now is the right time to experiment — the technology will never be as easy to use as it is today. Even small efficiency gains, around five minutes per employee and day, add up noticeably. In truth, according to retailers, the potential is even greater. It is crucial not only to be curious, but also to actually test and put AI into practice. ‍ At the end of the day, Lukas Hartmann from Helden im Handwerk, who already works in several FABRI companies, made it clear how important social media has become in the craft sector. His appeal: We can be proud of our craft — and that is exactly what we must show internally and externally. Authenticity is the key here. People want to work for us, we just need to make it visible to them. ‍ This YOUNG FABRI meeting also impressively demonstrated how valuable it is to learn from each other in an open setting, to develop new ideas and to take inspiration with you into everyday life — professionally, personally and personally.
